תאור

Switches in the third level the DES-3810, members of the family of D-Link xStack, provide high performance, high functionality, including Level 3. Switches are equipped with 24 and 48 ports. The DES-3810-28 is equipped with a 24-port 10/100 Mbit / s Fast Ethernet and 4 Combo 1000Base-T/SFP Gigabit Ethernet. The DES-3810-52 is equipped with a 48-port 10/100 Mbit / s Fast Ethernet, 2 x 1000 SFP and 2 combo ports 1000Base-T/SFP. Fast Ethernet ports provide connectivity to other switches LAN. Combo ports provide flexible connectivity to the backbone network and a central switch.

Standard and advanced functions
Switch The DES-3810 supports two different copies of the software - a copy of the Standard (SI) and a copy of the Enhanced (EI). Standard copy supports advanced features to build networks and enterprise-scale campus, including the advanced settings Quality of Service (QoS), traffic shaping, tunneling 802.1Q (Q-in-Q), routing / multicast IPv4, Ethernet OAM, and various security features. Extended copy of the software supports the routing of IPv6, the protocol BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) protocol and MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching), used in new generation networks to support IPv6, or for applications VPN / triple play networks Metro Ethernet. In addition, the extended copy also supports Switch Resource Management (SRM). This feature allows users to switch to optimize the allocation of resources to solve various network problems.

Enhanced network reliability
Switch DES-3810 series are designed for enterprise networks / campus, as well as for users who require a high level of network security and maximum reliability. Both the DES-3810-28 and DES-3810-52 supports connecting external backup power supply, thus providing, uninterrupted performance. The switches also support functions 802.1D Spanning Tree (STP), 802.1w Rapid Spanning Tree (RSTP) and 802.1s Multiple Spanning Tree (MSTP), Loopback Detection (LBD), and broadcast storm control, which increases network uptime. Function G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) provides switching time less than 50ms. To provide load balancing and backup of data using multiple switches / server application, a series of DES-3810 supports dynamic 802.3ad Link Aggregation Port Trunking.

Advanced security features
Switch DES-3810 series supports advanced security features such as Multi-level access control lists (ACL), Storm Control and IP-MAC-Port Binding to the DHCP Snooping. The function IP-MAC-Port Binding provides a binding of IP-addresses of the source to the corresponding MAC address for a specific port number to increase access security. Thanks to the DHCP Snooping, the switch automatically detects a pair of IP / MAC-addresses, DHCP-tracking packets and storing them in a "white list" IMPB. In addition, the D-Link Safeguard Engine provides the identification and prioritization of packets destined for the processing CPU, in order to prevent network attacks and security management interface switch.

Policies Identity Driven Network
Switch The DES-3810 supports authentication mechanisms such as 802.1X, access control to Web-based interface (WAC) and Access Control MAC-based, providing ease of deployment. After authentication of individual policies, such as VLAN membership, QoS policies and rules of ACL, can be assigned to each host. In addition, the switch supports the Microsoft ® NAP (Network Access Protection). NAP technology allows users to restrict access to the network computers that do not meet the safety requirements.

Traffic Management for Triple Play Services
DES-3810 series provides a set of multi-level functions of QoS / CoS, guaranteeing that critical network services such as VoIP, video conferencing, IPTV and IP-surveillance will be served with proper priority. Functions of Three Color Marker and Traffic shaping provides guaranteed bandwidth for data services, if the network is busy. With the support of multicast L2/L3, Switch DES-3810 implements the processing of IPTV-applications, using the growing demand in the market. IGMP / MLD Snooping provides host-based connection of multiple clients multicast group to one interface, the function sends the ISM VLAN Multicast streams in a special Multicast VLAN in order to save bandwidth and improve network security. ISM VLAN profiles allow users to set / change the preset settings on the ports multicast subscribers to quickly and easily.

Effective network management
To execute the Agreement on the level of service quality SLA (Service Level Agreement), providers must strive to reduce the average time of disaster recovery unit (Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)) and the increased availability of services. Ethernet OAM functionality helps solve these problems and allows service providers to ensure the best quality of service. Switch The DES-3810 supports a standardized function OAM, including IEEE 802.3ah, IEEE802.1ag and ITU-T Y.1731. Connectivity Fault Management (CFM) provides functions for monitoring, and troubleshooting networks Ethernet, allowing connection to control and isolate the problem areas of the network and identify customers to whom the restrictions in the network.

High-performance routing
Switch The DES-3810 supports Layer 3 routing at a rate corresponding medium. In small networks, routing between VLAN, static routing and protocol RIP (Routing Information Protocol) provides an easy way to configure Layer 3 routing. In networks, medium and large enterprises supported protocols Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and Border Gateway Protocol Version 4 (BGPv4) to provide the best routing. Policy-based routing (PBR) allows administrators to control the direction of the dynamic routing for load balancing or security.

For multicast Layer 3 Switch DES-3810 supports the PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast), including the PIM Sparse Mode (PIM-SM), PIM Dense Mode (PIM-DM), PIM Source-Specific Multicast (PIM-SSM), and PIM Sparse -Dense mode.

Interaction with both IPv4 and IPv6
Switch DES-3810 series are fully compatible with networks based on next-generation protocol IPv6. They support the remote management of IPv6 over telnet, HTTP or SNMP. The switch supports the dynamic routing IPv6-such as RIPng and OSPFv3. In addition, this device supports IPv4/v6 dual stack and tunneling IPv6, allowing the DES-3810 switch to act as a bridge between the networks of IPv4 and IPv6.

To ensure the safety of IPv6-network switches, the DES-3810 supports features IPv6 ACL, IPv6 RADIUS, DHCPv6 Snooping and Neighbor Discovery (ND) Snooping to protect the network from non-IPv6-clients.

VPN-tunneling service for businesses
Switch The DES-3810 supports many advanced features such as VLAN translation, Selective Q-in-Q, and Virtual Private Wire Service (VPWS), which allow users to organize the VPN-tunnel Layer 2 data transmission backbone MPLS. The function L2 Protocol Tunneling (L2PT) provides corporate clients with the transparency of level 2 in the provider network, which significantly reduces costs by centralizing network management.
