Wireless 802.11n-enabled firewall VPN, 1-port WAN, 8-port LAN 10/100/1000Base-TX
Unified routers D-Link DSR series are high-performance solutions that protect the network and designed to meet the growing needs of small and medium-sized businesses. Support for IEEE 802.11n, realized in the routers DSR-150N, DSR-250N, DSR-500N, DSR-1000N, can achieve the same performance as that of wired networks, but with fewer restrictions. Optimal protection is achieved through a network of tunnels organization VPN (Virtual Private Network), protocol support IP Security (IPSec), Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP), Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP), Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) 1 .Thanks to the VPN-tunnels sales representatives and employees of the territorial subdivisions get remote access to the corporate network from any location and at any time, without installing client software.
Integrated management capabilities
Routers and DSR-500/500N DSR-1000/1000N equipped with two WAN-Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports policy-based management, which ensures maximum productivity in business operations. Automatic switch failover (failover) ensures reliable transmission of data, including failure of one of the compounds. Application load balancing allows you to distribute outbound traffic between the two interfaces, and WAN-optimized system performance, providing thus the smooth operation of the network. The second WAN-port can be configured as a DMZ-port, allowing you to isolate servers from the LAN.
High-performance wireless network
DSR-150N, DSR-250N, DSR-500N and DSR-1000N supports 802.11a standard 5 / b / g / n and of operating in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz 5 . Thanks to the support of technology Multiple In Multiple Out (MIMO) routers DSR-150N, DSR-250N, DSR-500N and DSR-1000N provide high speed data transfer and enhanced wireless coverage, allowing you to reduce the number of "dead zones".
DSR routers support the ability to provide access to the Internet via the 3G network using the USB-modem 4 . Support for 3G networks makes it possible to connect an additional secure transmission of critical data or the stable operation of services of reservation. Routers DSR-1000/1000N 3G USB-modem can be configured as a third WAN-connection-enabled functions to automatically switch failover and load balancing in case of loss of the WAN-connection.
On routers DSR-500/500N 1 second WAN-port can be selected WAN2 or used for 3G modem with support for features like automatic switch failover and load balancing in case of loss of the WAN-connection. Routers DSR-150/150N/250/250N1 3G USB-modem can be configured as the first WAN-connection or a backup connection in case of loss of connection.
Secure VPN features
Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides mobile users and branch offices secure channel of communication to connect to the corporate network. DSR-150/150N, DSR-250/250N, DSR-500/500N DSR-1000/1000N and supports 5, 10, 15 or 20 tunnels Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) 1 , providing mobile users with remote access to a central corporate database . When you create a Site-to-site VPN-tunnel protocols are IP Security (IPSec), Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) or Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP), which simplifies the process of connecting remote users and branch offices through encrypted virtual links .DSR-150/150N supports up to 10 simultaneous IPSec VPN-tunnels and up to 10 VPN-tunnels PPTP/L2TP. DSR-250/250N, DSR-500/500N DSR-1000/1000N and supports up to 25, 35 and 70 simultaneous IPSec VPN-tunnels, respectively, as well as 25 additional VPN-tunnels PPTP/L2TP.
Technology Support D-Link Green Wi-Fi and D-Link Green Ethernet to optimize energy consumption and reduce energy costs.Using Schedule D-Link Green WLAN provides extra protection and reduces power consumption by turning off the wireless network to the user's schedule at peak hours. Technology D-Link Green Ethernet allows to determine the status of the connection and automatically switch the unit to standby power. In addition, routers DSR meet the requirements of the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), which aim to protect the environment.
